Murillos Restaurants Merchant Street

This location is small and quaint. Their chips and salsa are always on point. The salsa is not chunky like you find at many restaurants. It's warm and smooth which I find to be delicious. My favorite dish to get is the half paco. The regular size is big enough for 2 people.

this is the third time I have gone to Murillo's restaurant right next to Pacific Hardware on Merchant Street and is absolutely fantastic. The food is great and the service is impeccable. You definitely will not be disappointed.

We have been eating at Murillo's since 1971. No matter where we have traveled, Murillo's has and still is the best and most authentic Mexican food we have been able to find. From hot sauce and homemade chips, to enchiladas you would be hard pressed to find anyplace that puts the dedication and consistency of quality you will find at Murrillo's. They are the ones we have come to judge all the others against. We highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Wonderful to go and have great consistent service and good food. Affordable and good portion size. It has been there a long time and service and price so good, I can understand why. Is so nice to have a place where memories are good then and now.

Best Murillo's in town. Has the best service. Food is always fresh and hot. Most times you can get your food quick. They serve beer and margaritas in various flavors.

My wife and I come here every time we visit Vacaville. The atmosphere inside is nothing special but their food is amazing. Especially their enchilada sauce and cheese. They will put cheese on top of your rice and beans if you ask... which in our opinion = delicious. Oh and also great chips and salsa!

Chips and salsa are great. Worst Chile Relleno I have ever had. It was barely edible. I asked my wife to try it because she thought I was exaggerating, and she had to spit it out because it was so bad. So, my wife shared her Paco with me, which was tasty.

The best place for Mexican food anywhere in Solano county and my favorite restaurant!! I live in Fairfield and come to Vacaville all the time just to eat here. Real authentic Mexican food at great prices. Also a decent selection of foreign and domestic beers to accompany your meal. Murillos is a must go!!

One of the best kept little secrets in Vacaville. Murillo's sits next to Pacific Ace Hardware. This is the very best Vacaville has to offer in Mexican food. Had a breakfast omelette stuffed with ham and chilies. I love hot food..salsa is delish with their fresh warm chips..best refried beans. My friend had shredded beef tacos said they the tacos are the best. The servers are friendly and very good at what they do. Thank you to what I call the best Mexican food has to offer. Been eating here for most of my life. Food has always been great, the salsa especially. I don't come here that often anymore because of work, but I always relish the chance to get dinner here if I can. Really love this place.

Food was good, as always, more authentic than some places. It was Taco Tuesday, but had the Flautas. Staff are very friendly. I was able to pick where I wanted to sit, and since it was busy, I picked the first available booth, which sat about 4-5. As they couldn't find seating for a few women they asked if I was ok sharing the booth. I was. Very pleasant, friendly, fast service despite how busy they were.

Murillos makes good Mexican food. I have enjoyed my food there.

I love this place, always incredibly delicious food. It is always a pleasure when available to sit down with the owner Frances and hear about priceless leap of faith opening this restaurant when she was at the very young age of 25, turning this place into a must stop at restaurant

On Tuesday is senior day. You get an entree, rice, beans, soup, and a drink for $9. I recommend you go when it opens because it gets busy

Really good! Lunch started with chips and salsas. We had chimichangas (recommended by our waitress) and flautas. It fills up for lunch, so come when it opens.

I have been going to Murillo's since the late 90's and it has never disappointed! Shredded beef tacos or Paco's special are my favorite!!

Can be easy to miss this place from the street unless you know what you're looking for, but this is a must go place for Mexican comfort food! Portions are good sized and absolutely delicious. Service is very kind, no nonsense and down to earth.

This place used to be the gold standard for Mexican food in Vacaville. Still a local fav, but the food is just ok when compared to the other places in town. The service is hit or miss. Great chips and salsa, good iced tea.

Tastes like the food from my childhood. I love all the waitresses. I'll go back time after time.
